When you need reliable weather protection without wrestling with an unnecessarily large sheet, our Small Heavy Duty PVC Tarpaulins provide a practical solution for domestic, trade, farming and general outdoor use.
Available in 4m x 4m, 5m x 4m and 6m x 4m sizes, they are well suited to covering smaller machinery, building materials, garden equipment, work areas, loads and other items that need dependable protection from the elements.
Choose between 500gsm and 750gsm PVC depending on the job. The 500gsm option is lighter and easier to handle, making it particularly useful where the tarp will be moved, fitted or removed regularly. The 750gsm option gives you a heavier, more substantial cover where greater weight and robustness are preferred.
- Tough welded seams and strengthened hems help the tarpaulin cope with repeated outdoor use, while durable eyelets positioned at 1 metre intervals give you plenty of securing points around the perimeter.
The white UV-protected PVC is designed for outdoor conditions, and every size is pre-made and stocked in New Zealand for straightforward ordering and delivery.

500gsm or 750gsm?
GSM stands for grams per square metre and measures the weight of the PVC material. A higher GSM means a heavier, more substantial tarpaulin, while a lower GSM is lighter and easier to handle.
Choose 500gsm when easier handling and lower overall weight are important. It is particularly useful for general covering and jobs where the tarp may need to be put on, removed or repositioned regularly.
Choose 750gsm when you prefer a heavier, more substantial PVC tarpaulin for a more demanding covering job.
Both grades use the same practical reinforced construction and 1 metre eyelet spacing.
